Rainbow Serpent and Universal Oneness

My aim in this article is to share my understandings of the energetic body from my experience as a yoga teacher, my understandings of the effects of universal sound and frequency and the ancient metaphoric symbolism seen globally for thousands of years, in the hope it helps to give people the tools needed to reclaim their power. At times I refer back to a previous article (Language of the Birds) as you will find it is all connected.

The Energetic Body

All of life in the universe involves polarities (yin / yang), positive and negative energies, as does the human body. The energy channels around the body require an equal balance of both Yin and Yang energy. Our energy flow affects how we feel, how we think, and the overall condition of our health situation. When the body's life-force energy becomes blocked or one energy becomes dominant over the other, various mental and physical imbalances will result.

MERIDIANS & NADI'S

Meridians are energy channels 'transporting' life energy (Qi, Prana or biomagnetic energy) throughout the body. Many oriental cultures acknowledged this unseen energy system around the body, and implemented healing techniques such as acupuncture, yoga, breath work (pranayama), qi goong and tai chi to balance the body via the meridian lines. Evidence of this can be found dating back as far as over three thousand years ago through ancient Chinese texts.

The ancient healers from China, India, Japan, and Tibet identified energy channels, meridians or nadis, through which the vital energy flowed. Attaining balance in these energies is a must for optimum health.

Ancient Indian culture was aware of the body’s energy channels and referred to the system as Nadi’s, similar to the Chinese version of Meridan’s. Like the Chinese, they knew the balance of yin and yang energy was required to maintain optimum health (mentally and physically). Although the Nadis and Meridians differ in location and cause, both have one common theme, our health is represented by the flow of energy.

The word Nadi is derived from the Sanskrit word 'Nad' meaning VIBRATION and RESONANCE. Nadi's are ducts, channels which carry AIR, WATER, BLOOD, NUTRIENTS and other substances throughout the body. They connect at special points called 'CHAKRAS'.

The ancient mapping and understanding of the unseen energy grids that encompass the body can also be likened to the energy grids and vortexes that cover the planet known throughout the ancient cultures as 'Songlines, Leylines, Fairy Lines, Dragon Lines etc Many of these connecting points create energy vortexes (just like our Chakras), which were always known as sacred sites. (As Above, So Below)

The Body Meridians can be used for Treatment of a condition or/and Diagnosis. Blockages, leading to lack of energy supply to certain areas of the body, or a surplus of energy in other areas are often found within these channels. Energy blockages can be the result of stress, an injury or trauma, or bad living habits (diet, habits/addictions, lack of exercise) and can be traced to the root of all health (physical/mental/spiritual) problems. When the energies run evenly throughout the body, the body naturally becomes harmoniously balanced.

“An assembly of cells, as in a tissue or organ, will have certain collective frequencies that regulate important processes, such as cell division. Normally these control frequencies will be very stable. If, for some reason, a cell shifts its frequency, entraining signals from neighboring cells will tend to reinstall the correct frequency. However, if a sufficient number of cells get out-of-step, the strength of the system’s collective vibrations can decrease to the point where stability is lost. Loss of coherence can lead to disease or disorder.” (see Language of the Birds https://www.ancientwisdomoftheancestors.com/language-of-the-birds )

There are 12 main meridians which flow vital life force through the body. Six of them Yang, and Six Yin, each one of them connected to the vital organs in the body, which in turn has its own personality – from smell to taste, colour and sound, emotion and purpose. Every thought, feeling, emotion is linked to a physical organ in the body.

Yin is known as the cooling feminine moon energy as opposed to Yang being the heated male sun energy. Much of our existence in the modern western world is very yang orientated, with busy lifestyles keeping the mind constantly alert yet externally driven often creating an imbalance within our energy channels, due to a dominating Yang energy, this can also occur with a passive Yin dominated lifestyle.

With the use of breath work (pranayama) we are able to influence the flow of the Nadis, thus calming and controlling the mind, bringing our focus internally to the body, allowing us to reconnect with the deeper aspects of our true nature and bringing about equilibrium to the bodies vital energy flow.

The Indian system acknowledged a number of approx. 72,000 nadis within the body, connecting up to 3 major Nadis; Ida, Pingala and Sushumna, being responsible for what is known as Kundalini energy (spiritual energy) travelling from the base of the spine through to the crown chakra. Ida and Pingala being the yin (feminine) and yang (masculine) energy , spiralling around the main central nadi, known as Sushumna. Ida and Pingala spiral around Sushumna meeting at each chakra point and crossing over to the other side, not unlike the modern day medical symbol of the caduceus, depicting two snakes winding around a winged staff.

Kundalini lies dormant at the base of the spine and can be awakened by many of the ancient modalities like Pranayama (breathwork), yoga etc which help to quiet the mind, opening the gateway to meditative states of higher consciouness.

Ancient Symbolism

As mentioned in a previous article 'The Language of the Birds), the ancient Caduceus symbolizes on an esoteric level the alchemical process, which is the staff carried by Hermes in Greek mythology and his predecessor Thoth in Egyptian legend. The staff represents the spinal column, the spiral of the two serpents represents the kundalini life force. The sphere at the top of the staff represents the energy center of the brain or the seventh chakra. The Wings at the top of the staff represents freedom or liberation of the soul from the cycle of birth and death. One transcends the bonds of ego and bodily identification, releasing the spirit from the confines of matter.

Perhaps the commonest dream symbol of transcendence is the snake, as represented by the therapeutic symbol of the Roman god of medicine Aesclepius, which has survived to modern times as a sign of the medical profession. This was originally a nonpoisonous tree snake; as we see it, coiled around the staff of the healing god, it seems to embody a kind of mediation between earth and heaven. -

-Carl Jung, Man and His Symbols, page 153

As seen above, both the serpent and bird were highly symbolic in Ancient Egyptian and many other cultures. Did the ancients know the secrets to gaining higher consciousness and awareness via a balanced energetic body?

I have often wondered about varied metaphors found in artworks around the globe, one of note is the Adam and Eve story (eating from the tree of knowledge)? Symbolically with both images below, one of Adam and Eve, the other an ancient Chinese painting, both depicting the masculine & feminine energy on either side of the serpent. Is this a metaphor for the Ida and Pingala nadi's with the serpent (kundalini) rising?

The Naga Buddha symbolism is widely seen across Asia, usually depicted sitting upon a coiled serpent with 'seven' heads above the 'enlightened' head. Knowing there are seven chakras, it would be fathomable that this symbolises the ancient knowledge of Kundalini rising.

Steps to Enlightenment

Ancient Indian culture strived to raise their Kundalini energy, to enable them to reach spiritual enlightenment through the practice of 8 limbs of yoga –

YAMA - Restraints, moral disciplines or moral vows.

NIYAMA - Positive duties or observances.

ASANA - Posture.

PRANAYAMA - Breathing techniques.

PRATYAHARA – Withdrawal of the senses.

DHARANA - Focused concentration.

DHYANA - Meditative absorption.

SAMADHI - Bliss or enlightenment.

By striving to live by the way of the 8 limbs of yoga, we are able to clear the energy pathways, ultimately leading us to the 8th Limb of enlightenment ‘Samadhi’.

By using breath, combined with deep tissue stretching, we are able to let go of the busy mind (citta) and surrender to the external forces we are constantly battling, all the while benefiting the physical body.

Frequencies

Of all the forms of energy, sound / vibration is, perhaps, one of the more powerful manifestations. Please refer back to the article 'Language of the Birds' https://www.ancientwisdomoftheancestors.com/language-of-the-birds

Sound / vibration is intricately connected with the human consciousness and the innate spiritual side of man. By its very nature, sound is at the core of life itself. It influences the mind and the emotions, it is known to alter the life force of a person, with its ability to heal. Every emotion carries a frequency, anger and fear release lower vibrational fields, love and compassion for all sentient beings on this planet and mother earth herself raise our own vibration and the frequency of the earth herself through the Collective vibrational fields.

Even the music we listen to can have an effect on our moods, depending on the frequency it resonates on. Modern day music has the capacity to create DISharmony within our cells. Ancient cultures knew the healing nature of vibration, and was used in many cultures. I still use the Tibetan Singing Bowl at the end of my yoga classes which can be felt on a deeply cellular level. Cymatics proves that sound changes the molecular structure of water and matter, so makes absolute sense it would have an effect on our physical bodies.

Kybalion – Hermetic teachings tell us the manifestation of thought, emotion, reason, WILL, desire or any mental state are accompanied by VIBRATIONS, which can also partly affect the minds of other persons by ‘induction’ which is the principle of telepathy, mental influence & other forms of action and power of mind over mind. Every thought, emotion or mental state has its corresponding rate & mode of vibration. ‘HE WHO UNDERSTANDS THE PRINCIPLE OF VIBRATION, HAS GRASPED THE SCEPTER OF POWER.’

Keys of Enoch (JJ Hurtark) tell us that the ‘Electomagnetic Body is responsible for coding the physical body directly into other consciousness regions (dimensions) of the local universe through an array of electromagnetic waves. In order to reach these higher spectrums, one must first illuminate the Electromagnetic Body with light, before one can cross the threshold of negative mass.’

My own experiences of the planes/dimensions, in that one cannot travel the higher planes unless he is resonating at a certain frequency, which entails an understanding of the interconnectedness of the 'ALL' , the ONENESS of all that exists.

That said, I would like to conclude with a deeply profound out of body experience I had back in 2012, which I feel pertains to the current events on this planet and the prophesied split (sorting the wheat from the chaff)

2012 - "I started seeing geometric patterns, similar to the flower of life and a vibrating sound, a frequency which got louder and louder… It was like looking down a tunnel with the flower of life at the end getting closer as the vibration intensified.

Well then it was like a flash of light went off and I thought it was a nuclear bomb having been set off… I felt a great loss for humanity….. everything around just disintegrated including myself… Every atom just came apart (this is known as the death of the ego) I was frightened at this stage as I really thought it what was happening, I was dead?… Then I reminded myself to go with it and headed towards light.

Now I was in a totally different dimension.. Instead of seeing the flower of life, I was part of it… we all were (each one of us a bright illuminated petal) But beings of light not in a physical sense. It was like some kind of collective consciousness connected to and surrounding the earth.

Some petals (souls) had turned black with darkness and were falling off the flower… the rest of the illuminated petals were joining each other as though to save the flower / earth? It felt like chaos as the petals (souls) that were falling were trying to cling onto the rest, (this I feel was the split in resonance vibration).

In that moment an incredible large sphere of luminescent light which I understood to be (creator/ source) appeared before us all and those that were still shining bright all ascended towards it, UNITED. We were ALL part of it.

There was no sensation of ‘I’ we were ONE, every spirit part of the ONE… I felt an intense feeling of love and understanding. We were in the great spaces of the universe, I understood that life is infinite, it just goes on forever….

I could sense other beings around also… I could sense them and in a way would communicate telepathically…

Then I just started travelling through an incredible place of knowledge – A tube, a library, but not in the sense of books. It was like neon rainbow coloured tubes (felt like being within a serpent), although with a form of transparency… There were many many of these tubes intermingling and going off into different directions. I was surfing through them with no form of physical being at all, just a light and gaining knowledge every segment I followed. I had control now and could go in any direction I wished. The colours and geometric patterns were incredible.

I too realised that we are not of this world…. but a much more UNIVERSAL SPIRIT. I understood that we need to UNITE in a FEARLESS COLLECTIVE CONSCIOUSNESS.

For approx. 15 minutes after returning to my body, I could see the Electo Magnetic Spectrum formed around the human body, my own, and others in the room."

"The heart of the matter is always our oneness with divine spirit, our union with all life."
